General terms and conditions
1. Delivery and shipping costs
- Orders received electronically are binding, even without an electronic or handwritten signature.
- Orders received will be processed within one week of receipt. Titles available in stock are usually dispatched within one week. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
- If you would like a specific delivery date, please let us know in the "Comments on this order" field in step 2 of the ordering process. We will inform you by e-mail whether the requested delivery date can be met by us.
- Works that have not yet been published or are temporarily unavailable will be noted and delivered on the publication or delivery date.
- In the event of delivery delays, you will be informed by e-mail as soon as possible (if possible), stating the expected delivery date.
- Our notification of delivery difficulties may give you the option to cancel your order. Cancellations should be sent to the following e-mail address: e-shop@wsl.ch.
Please note that in the case of free publications, the order quantity is limited:
- Maximum 30 pieces Leaflet for the practice, Notice pour le praticien, Information sheet landscape, Annual report, Rapport annuel, Image brochure, Flyers and brochures.
- Maximum 3 pieces All other books offered free of charge such as Forum for Knowledge or Reports.
- Larger orders are only possible on request and against payment of a contribution towards expenses and postage (e-shop@wsl.ch).
2. Return of goods
- Returns will only be accepted after consultation with the e-shop (e.g. telephone, letter, fax, e-mail to e-shop@wsl.ch) and after its written confirmation.
- We will take back goods that are in perfect, saleable condition within 10 days against a credit note. Software, multimedia products and DVDs are excluded from exchange.
- For manufacturing defects or incorrect deliveries, we will exchange the item for a flawless copy within 10 days, but only for WSL's own products. Please always state customer number, invoice number and reason for return. The return is at your own liability/risk.
3. Exclusion of liability
WSL accepts no liability for third-party products ordered from us. The purchaser has to contact the manufacturer directly. Faultless ones will replace defective WSL products if it is established that the damage was not caused by improper use. WSL is not liable for indirect damages.
4. Prices
All prices include the legally prescribed VAT. The indicated prices are subject to change. The price in the individual case is binding.
5. Security and data protection
Your personal data is in safe hands with us and will not be made available or used by anyone outside WSL / SLF. All the information you give us enables you to shop comfortably and securely. When you order something, we need your name, your (residential) address, your e-mail address and your delivery and billing addresses. We only need your credit card number and its expiry date if you pay for an order by credit card. The credit card details are not stored, you must re-enter them for each purchase.
